First Post!

I am a new convert to Islam and thought it would be interesting to start a blog detailing my experiences, thoughts, etc. There are a lot of videos on YouTube from converts that are very interesting. I am not quite ready to post videos so I figured blogging was the next best thing. The videos I watched on YouTube are really what inspired me to start a blog. Perhaps someone can relate to my story. A posted a comment on one video (the video was a girl explaining her conversion to Islam) simply stating I appreciated her video and was considering sharing my own. She replied back and said she thought I should and explained in might be of help to others. I decided to start a blog not only to share my conversion story but also to share my experiences and thoughts. In Sha Allah someone will find this blog helpful and/or interesting.
